It has been so long...

Hi There, Great Big Beautiful World ....

I can't believe I am actually writing in my blog again. It has been such a long time! I always wonder what to say. It isn't as if I have a cure for any diseases. Or any ideas for improving the President's foreign affair situation. Just what is so important anyway?

It is a beautiful day and I am counting my blessings. One blessing is that I can actually remember my password for this thing. That is a miracle. Also, I had sweet little flowers painted on my toe nails (just the big toes!) and now I want to learn how to paint them myself. So, I have been practicing and practicing with my teeny-tiny brushes and new paints. Yes, life can be so difficult!

I am watching Natalie play in the back yard. Oh, what a precious sight! She is up in the fort now. Dan put the awning over it today and now she can sit there without getting too much sun. Allison is in Asheville at a women's retreat. She is having a great time. And, Dustin has been home but is now out running around. He is so much fun.

Knightley is barking at all the dangerous children riding their little bikes in the cul-de-sac. How wonderful to have such a brave and alert Collie!

I need to go scrub the bathroom. It's 7:00 p.m. I've been putting it off all day long. I believe I have perfected the skill of procrastination. If I put it off until tomorrow, I will be even more skilled. What's another day? (pause) Okay. It's done. All clean and fresh!

Ending my post here, I will do the traditional ....... (this is the first time to do this tradition) ...... the traditional:

Circling my finger above my Bible, eyes closed, and point! Here it is.... God's word for the day: (Hold onto your hat. It could be anything!)

nope! not that one...... try it again:

nope! that does not make ANY sense..... try it again: (this is it no matter what)

"And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land." Acts 27:44

OKAY...... ending the one day tradition.
