A Beautiful Day

It is a beautiful day here. Allison and I went shopping at the mall and ended up having a great conversation about what we are learning about life. Interpersonal relationships and all the complications, etc...... Allie is inspirational and I am so grateful to have her in my life.

When we got home, it was time to play with Natalie! Got to keep a good balance here. We cannot take Natalie to the mall with us on the weekends as the crowds really freak her out. She cannot handle the stress. Hey... I can barely handle it myself! We go to a mall that is so large, busloads of people come all the way from out of state just to visit. It's a fun place.

We are staining the play system and trying to get it ready for wintertime. It is so large we had to stop before finishing so it could begin drying before the dew sets in this evening. Maybe tomorrow we can finish it. Also, Dan is working in the yard..... vaccuuming leaves and mowing. Everything is so pretty and green! Earlier today, I had a lovely phone visit with my wonderful & fun sister who lives in Ohio. What a nice treat....

We purchased a great movie yesterday at Sam's Club. It is called 'The Others' with Nicole Kidman. oooohhhh! Scary! We are going to watch it tonight. Dustin is our sound system specialist. He makes sure every single little sound is heard AND felt! Popcorn & hot chocolate..... a few blankets and we will be all set!

Dinner tonight is chicken salad sandwiches and soup. Easy and yummy! The cake is almost all gone. Elvis sure knew his stuff when it came to cakes. :-)
