A Good Day

Today was great. It was beautiful weather. All my work seemed effortless. And, my new wallpaper steamer works like a charm. I am redecorating our master bath and removing the old wallpaper has been an absolute nightmare! With the steamer, the job is now completely finished. Next, we will sand, prime, and resurface. I'm not putting up wallpaper anymore, ever again, for as long as I live! What a pain in the you-know-what!!!

Natalie had a great day and played up a storm. She is into Fraggles now. Last time we went to Target, she found 'Red' Fraggle and that has been her favorite toy ever since. Last year, we purchased all the Fraggle Rock DVD's and she would not watch them. We got them out again and now she is enjoying them!

I wasn't in the mood to cook dinner as steaming/removing wallpaper is very hard work and very tedious. I can't think about food, too! But, as 6:00 came around the kitchen was dark and life-less, I just had to do something! Could not stand the thought of fast food and no way could I allow that end of the house go dark! So, I whipped up some delicious spaghetti and veggies. It was fast and so tasty. There is nothing better than smelling a great dinner cooking as the day winds down and everthing is going cold outside. Even if I don't feel like cooking, it seems that everyone still congregates in expectancy. I can't let them down!

I have been watching the world series this evening. Isn't baseball fun? Those hitters are so brave to stand there while the ball comes flying to them at 95 miles an hour! How do they do that? One whiz by my head and I'd drop into a dead faint!

"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Ps. 139:23-24
